Is this suppose to be a joke?
The plate looks ugly and dirty (the super rough surface is great for hiding bacteria). And who serve sashimi soaked in sauce? The green union aren’t even evenly cut.
This looks like a mess.
No, this is not the kind of plate for raw food. This is a restaurant which place food presentation over food safety. If you think this is okay, all I can say is “good luck”.

Serving sashimi as ‘zuke’ (pickled) is when it’s marinaded in a vinegar and soy mixture. Pretty common in Japanese cuisine.

I know I’ve had better and prettier in my time in Japan, but I don’t have images readily available right now, so you win this round!
Looks delicious.

This looks delicious! I’m not familiar with sashimi being served with hot mustard. Now I’m curious to try!

Well, if there was some o-toro…..
Well, if there was some o-toro…..

Are those yuzus or shikuwasa slices?
The actual plate or the food?
[Here](https://img.designswan.com/2019/03/platingArt/1.jpg) you go.
The citrus, do people use it as garnish or do they squeeze it onto the fish?
Doesnt it cevichefy the sashimi?
Needs a sushi ramp
The slices are a little too thick, aren’t they? They look like steaks.
Is this fish 1” thick?
